There are approximately 20,000 lower limb amputees and 2000 upper limb amputees in Uganda. Approximately 20% of the lower limb amputees and almost none of the upper limb amputees have access to prosthetic services.

The Given Limb Foundation helps amputees who desire adaptive devices for their prosthetics so that they can return to activities that are important to them.
Caregiver Education at Walter Reed

Often injured service members have family and friends visit them during their stay at Walter Reed. Many of these visitors would like to do more for their loved ones to support their rehabilitation, and could benefit from a caregiver education course.
